To get from one lake to the other I would have to carry my canoe and all of my gear over high ridges, sometimes walking 4+ miles for just one of my many portages each day.

See his tiny little feet grabbing the leaf? Even when they were all that was sticking out of the snake's mouth, they were still grabbing at branches.
